Tips & Best Practices

  • Use MILD for soft, fade-out deaths (illness, old age).
  • Use NORMAL when you want occasional shocking twists without explicit gore.
  • Use INTENSE only in dark or horror scenarios where violent deaths are expected.
  • Set USERDEATH_CHANCE high (50–100) for rare events; lower (10–25) for highly lethal worlds.
  • Combine with Autoplot or Violence & Torture for compounded drama, but balance to avoid over-killing the protagonist.
